Local Addiction Help provides peer-informed, non-clinical guidance for individuals and families navigating addiction treatment and recovery systems. Our work is informed by lived experience and peer support training, with a focus on compassion, clarity, and ethical boundaries.

We do not provide medical advice, therapy, or clinical treatment. Our role is to help people understand available options and take informed next steps.

Support for Families and Loved Ones

Many people who reach out are parents, spouses, or loved ones seeking help for someone else. We offer guidance designed to help families understand treatment options and available recovery resources while respecting personal boundaries and individual readiness.

About Interventions and Encouraging Treatment

Some families seek information on how to approach a loved one who may be resistant to treatment. While we do not provide clinical intervention services, we can share general information about intervention approaches and help families understand next steps and professional options.
